Birch Box Jan 2011

Ok, so sorry! Remember how last time I left my camera cord at my apt when I went to my dad's place? LOL this time, I left my camera at my dad's place. SIGH. so again, crappy macbook pics!

If you don't know what Birch Box is, it's a company that sends you about  4-5 samples of high end products (such as nars, stila, laura mercier, etc.) for either $10/month OR $110/year! Although you don't get to CHOOSE what you get, it's such a fun surprise! If you end up loving a product, you can buy the product in full size. They also have a rewards system where if you review products you can earn points that you can put into your purchase of a full size product. 


This month was about 'starting off the new year right' -- so these products were for your overall wellness. I threw out the box already, but here are the products I received! 

 Here is the overview of all of the products :)) 

 Erno Laszlo- Blue Firmarine Treatment bar! Can you believe the full size bar is $39!!! holy bajezuusss!!! Its beyond a soap, it has algae extract, vitamins C&E, exfoliates, hydrates and firms skin. We'll see about that!!! :P 

 The Ahava Dermud Intensive Nourishing Hand Cream - Full Size $28. 

This is nice, its one of those creams that makes ur hands feel like satin after (similar to mary kay's satin hands). To me it isn't beyond anything I've tried, just a nice hand cream... perfect to throw in my purse :P 

         

I've been LOVING face masks lately-- did they know?

This is an aloe vera face masks great for soothing and healing overworked skin! 

Lastly... oh man. This is a product I already LOVE. Full Size $24. My sister has this product and I used it EVERY DAY when we were together. It smells strongly of Jasmine (I LOVE that scent) and works beautifully. I was missing it when she left.. and I contemplated buying it, but couldn't justify it since I still have my argan oil. but now... I will fill out my surveys diligently so I can purchase this at a lower price! :) 

Oh wait, that wasn't lastly... because they threw in a birchbox treat- which is the Zhena's Gypsy Tea!! :)  I love organic tea -- and especially Chai tea. I'm not a huge fan of coconut, but I can't wait to try this out! 


So far, Birchbox has still been an awesome deal for me!!! I am so curious to know what next month will bring since it is Valentine's Day! Do you think I should pick up next months?? lol :P
