Project 5 Pan Success :)

Here are the products I finished!! I'm actually very impressed with myself because in general, I can only finish bath and body products for P5P because I'm super itching to finish everything! So you think, OH I can try and finish this shower gel and then I find myself using about half the bottle in one shower! HAHA!

So below are all of the products, reviews... and if I would repurchase! 

1) Bobbi Brown Concealer Stick: I absolutely ADORE Bobbi Brown concealer/correctors and this stick is definitely one of the tops on my list. It's so creamy and dreamy and is PERFECT to dab when you are on the go. I love keeping this in my purse for touchups. I think I've gone through about 4-5 sticks already.

2) Bobbi Brown Corrector in Light to Medium Bisque: I will never be without this product. It is the PERFECT product for under my eye area. When I was at the BB Counter, the SA was searching SO long to find the PERFECT under eye color for me. We went through like a billion correctors and concealers and finally we found the one. It's the perfect color to carefully correct my under eye circles (which is my least liked part of my face!) and it has the same creamy dreamy consistency as the concealer stick. I'm pretty sure this is my 8th or 9th pot and don't worry, I already have a back up of this ;)

3) Fresh Soy Facial Cleanser: Again. Another one of my faves! I adore this facial cleanser because its so 'fresh' (lol) smelling, is extremely gentle and takes off all dirt and makeup like a dream! I usually hate washing my face because I always get cleanser in my eye, but this is the one product I never mind using! I still have full size bottle of this (as this is just the travel size), but this is the one I kept in my shower to use when I was cleaning up!

4) Bobbi Brown Malted Eye Cream Shadow: You know, I quite liked this product. I liked the consistency of it. Although the color was a bit off my skintone (a bit taupe ish) during the cooler weather, it still is a great product. In fact, I think it maybe be better than mac paint pots! I often used these as a primer for my lids and they make AMAZING bases. I may not pick up this color again, but I would definitely pick up the product again.

5) Nars Face Powder in Flesh: Oh I really loved this product. This pressed powder was really nice. It was finely milled and it was incredibly light - like unbearably light because the MUA at the Nars counter wanted to make me a living china doll. He made my eyes look SO strange, powdered my face SO white, and made my lips BRIGHT orange. I liked how the product felt, so I purchased it. I ended up LOVING this product to use under my eye area to brighten up my face. I ended up buying the Nars Flesh loose powder as a replacement, which is awesome, but I may go back to the pressed powder afterwards. It's just easier!!! lol

I have NO clue where I put the empty pot, so here is just a pic of what it looks like! lol

So there you have it! 5 finished products *pats back* -- Now that I'm done with P5P... I decided to give up purchasing makeup for lent. HAHA! So we'll see...... :) If I can get some more products done! Will keep y'all updated! xx

Random Update & Giveaway!

Ok... wow. long time no write... right???? Sheesh, i can NEVER let that happen again!! :D

After break, I had a crazy week of school... and this week is pretty relaxed since my student teaching placement is on spring break and my big huge project/paper was due on Monday! So needless to say, I have some time this week to relax, catch up on work and hold my little fingers back from clicking or picking up anything beauty related! dang doing a project pan is definitely very hard! lol!

So I was in sephora today freakinn' temptation island!!! I went to pick up a birthday gift for my lovey Erin. I haven't stepped foot in a sephora since February because I was afraid I would cheat! It was weird being back in there... but I got a VIB email last week about getting the new benefit skincare line samples! -so although I didn't buy anything for myself, I still got a little free perk!!

I think that the presentation of this is gorgeous. how cute are these teeny little sample bottles. You can tell that they are really promoting this the right way.. lol even if it's a waste of materials. BUT... these are little containers I would definitely reuse-- so it's not a waste!!

I'm so excited to share with you all the items I finished in Project Japan Pan. I worked really hard. AND I'm so excited to share with you all the money we raised together. I couldn't be prouder of the beauty community for showing compassion and care towards others. It's truly a beautiful thing.

I'm getting ready to do a clearance blogsale because I'll be moving at the end of June and I need to kinda deep clean some things. So a lot of my things will be on clearance... so it'll be like a blog clearance rather than a blog sale lol! BUT I wanted to show you the coolest thing! I went out to buy some tape and more envelops to mail stuff out in... and look at this duct tape!! SO CUTE! ZEBRA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I signed up for Out of the Beauty Box Tour in NY! I'm so excited to be going!!! If you dont know what that is, Koren (enkoremakeup) and Elessa (pursebuzz) are hosting this tour where they teach seminars and have pro make up classes. I signed up for the pro make up class and for the airbrushing class!!! At the end of it, I will be make up certified! I'm so excited!! Beyond this, I'm so excited because one of my dearest friends, ERIN (who is mssmalltownbeauty) will be coming all the way from CANADA! So I will meet her for the first time! I'm SUPER EXCITED!!! :) Can't wait to share the experience with you!!

In about a week or so, I'm thinking if I should put up a Birthday Wish List. Usually I do it just for fun, but every year my friends ask me to do it so that way they have a good idea of what they want to get me. I've just been showered with so much love this year, I'm contemplating if I should even do this or not!!! -- I'm turning 25!!!!!!!!! It's definitely an adult... ADULT.. year. lol so maybe I shouldn't even be asking for gifts anymore! LOL :)

Project 10 pan :)

I have decided.

DUN DUN DUN.

to embark on the project 10 pan journey. I realize (yes finally) I have too much make up and need to get through it before I buy anymore (my boyfriend will definitely be happy about this one). After counting through my concealers, I couldn't believe how many I've actually accumulated- gift or purchase or sample, it doesn't matter, it still counts!!!! 14 whopping concealers! yowzas!!!

If you don't know what project 10 pan is, a youtuber (lollipop26) thought of this concept (LOL a while ago!). To prevent people from buying more, wasting money and products.. you have to finish 10 full products before purchasing anymore. That means no more foundation, concealers, lip gloss, lipsticks, blushes, eye shadows, primers... etc. AH!

Let's see if I can do this!!!!

PS. I really kind of need some sort of loophole... so I'm gonna say gifts from other people don't count :) HAHA!
