Antipodes Rejoice Light Facial Day Cream

• This has become one of my favorite creams of all time. It's great for all types of skin... meaning its great for all different parts of my face. I absolutely adored this during the summer time, yet I STILL love it for the colder weather! It's nongreasy and has a almond dough kind of smell! 

John Masters Blood Orange and Vanilla Body Wash 

• Fantastic. I absolutely LOVEEEE this smell (if you don't like warm and citrusy smells, they have a nonscented one) and has such a nice luxurious feel when you are using it! 

Adara Coconut Oil in Peach 

• love love love! I absolutely adore coconut oil for all my needs, but this peach flavor is particularly fantastic. It smells like peach rings and works like a charm. I personally like to use it on my hands as a hand treatment.. and the smell lingers! 

MBeze Deodorettes (Too cute! My fave is aim to be pleased) 

• Too cute!!! Possibly the cutest little deodorant EVER!!! Perfect for traveling... perfect for anywhere! I do have some gripes about the consistency of the product, but this stuff really works and keeps you smelling fresh the whole day! 

Hair:
Skinny Skinny Dry Shampoo (Jasmine)

• I've used this before a couple of years ago and LOVED it. I'm so glad they have these in stock! The jasmine smells amazeeeballs and now they come in CUTE travel sizes too! I love everything mini! 

Makeup:
Figs & Rouge Balm (I like all of them AND this is not only lip balm, but everything balm!)

• This is great for your lips, but if you have any dry patches like I do in the cooler weather, this is perfect for that... and for dry elbows. It's a great all over balm and again... perfect to stick in your purse! 

Multi tasking beauty balm (like nars multiple! I like the bronze color!)

• I haven't tried this yet, but I've heard SO many good things about this. I actually picked this up in bronze, but I have yet to receive it and use it! I think bronze will be perfect to contour the face and I can't wait to try it!

My Recommendations for the Sephora FF Sale :)

I save all my sephora gift cards for this moment.... and I sit and eye all the products like a hawk and now it is finally time to SPLURGE!!!! 

Before I begin to tell you my picks, do NOT forget to order your products through Ebates.com! If you just go through that site and click on sephora, you get 4% cash back! It's really that simple. I thought it would be annoying, but it is not at all and I've honestly saved a good amount of money through this site!!!! 

HERE WE GO!!!!

Here are my picks this year for the Sephora FF Sale :D 

1) Tarte Matte Trio $34: I LOVE the tarte lipsurgence pencils. Without a doubt, its like the best thing for lazy ass people like me. Sometimes they could be a bit drying, but I like them because its a nice twist up product where you can just keep in your pocket. Usually they are a hefty 24 bucks, so this set is DEFINITELY worth its price. I absolutely have been loving the matte finish for fall. It looks beautiful and effortless and these pencils really help do the job! 

2) Jurlique kit $50: This is an AMAZING deal for $50 bucks. It has some of my favorite products including the rosemist water (which I was always too cheap to buy) and the herbal recovery gel! I've had their sanitizer, and its standard with a really nice organic smell. I'm excited to try out the hand cream too! I love rose scents! This is the perfect set to get someone for christmas!!! 

3) UD 24/7 Shadow Pencil Kit $34: AMAZING set of neutrals and pops of colors! I've never tried these, but I heard they are PHENOMENAL!  These are 5 NEARLY full sized pencils for just a mere $34! 

4) Nars Danmari Blush Set $65: This is an awesome way to try a great range of nars blushes. They are amazing for me - with primer on my face, this really lasts and looks beautiful! Each blush is the size of a full size Nars eye shadow, so this is a great value. AND this is a limited set, so I would definitely run on this! 

5) Hourglass Mineral Veil Primer $52: This is my FAVORITE primer of ALLLLLLL time. It glides on smoothly and has SPF and really helps my skin glow and make up stay put. I cannot rave about this product more... the only thing is that it comes at a hefty price. I always want to cry picking this product up since its 50 bucks, but it really makes a world of a difference on your skin. One bottle if I used it every day would probably last me a couple of months. :) 

6) Sephora's best sellers kit $75: Now... this kit is pricy, but i've tried  most of these products before and they did put a great set together! The laura mercier tinted moisturizer is amazing, as is the Nars illuminator and the perfume roller! Also, sin is one of my favorite shades. So I would suggest that if you are a beginner and don't know what to try, this is a great set to try. Also if you've never tried any of these products, its a great set to get!!! :) 

7) Sephora's Favorite Lashstash $45: Are you a mascara junkie? This looks amazinggggg...!!! Well, I'm thinking this looks amazing because I don't usually like to get full size mascaras because I only use mascara once in a while and with the short shelf life of 3 months, I can never get through a whole mascara. This would be PERFECT for me! Especially since there is fairy drops (which is one of my favorites), MUFE Smoky lash which is a GREAT mascara (I use it on all my clients) and I've been wanting to try the Hourglass Noir for a while. This also comes with TWO full size! So worth it? I think so!

I LOVE ADARA COCONUT OIL!!!!!

Before I begin reviewing anything for you, I need to tell you all a story. It's one of those stories from childhood that scar you to become who you are today... you know one of those? yeah.... and if you are completely against reading stories of my life... feel free to skip to after  **end story** for the review ;)


So it all started in 2nd grade. I was kinda the chubby girl that was too tall for her age, asian and kinda awkie. I wore thick a$$ tights with holes in the crotch with even thicker -- too long, so i have to push them down -- bright socks and some weird pink suede shoes. Yeah, that was me. Let's move on.


Anyway, everyone was super nice to each other... well, because we were in 2nd grade, so no one knew the difference between fat, ugly, annoying, weird, black, white, etc. awesome times. anyway there was this girl in the class, she was really pretty, but her eyes were kinda big and they kinda freaked me out a little, but i couldn't say anything because everyone was really nice to each other. Every day, she smelled like coconut oil. I dunno if her parents bathed her in it, or just drenched her hair in it, or just sprayed her down on her way out the door, but EVERY DAY without fail, she reeeeeked of coconut oil.


Months pass by, and its time for scoliosis and lice checks. The nurse would come into the classroom and in the corner check every child. (not even in the privacy of the nurse's office!) Well, well well, our little coconut-ty big eyed friend here had a little case of liceeeyyy... i mean which wasn't a big deal because i'm pretty sure like 6 other kids did too... but then later that day, there was a ROACH. in her hair. no joke. a HUGE FLIPPING ROACH walking along in her hair. and i was like OMGGGG THATS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU HAVE LICE REAL BAD.


so the moral of the story is... that any time i smell the smell of coconut oil, i actually think of lice.

Here's the thing. I LOVE coconut oil though. the benefits of it are just AMAZING for so many parts of your body - for your hair, your skin, your nails, for everything! It's an amazing multi purpose product. I love adding it in face masks, hair masks, foot masks, but i would NEVER dare to use it alone. EVER. . . because, i think of... lice.

UNTIL.... 

michelle came into my life and introduced me to 

Adara coconut oil

It comes in FIVE SIX delicious scents.

(The unscented one that I dare not touch or acknowledge) 

The scents are perfectly blended with the coconut oil 

so neither one really overpowers another. And I love that.

I'm the kinda girl that likes good blends, and adara does it right. 

(ie. i don't really like the smell of vanilla, but i love the smell 

of raspberry vanilla or lavender vanilla...) 

They retail for $12 each, which may seem pricy for 2oz size, 

but if you think about it.. 

Josie Maran's argan oil at 1.7oz is $48...

so this is a pretty dang sweet deal.

A bit about the coconut oil: it does crystallize when its cooler,
it becomes icy looking and awesome, but since its been so hot,
its been liquidy here. but just run them under warm water and
they will become liquid quickly!


Coconut oil also feels very similar to argan oil and olive oil
on the skin.. i mean.. they are all.. oil. HAHA but i do believe
 that the coconut oil didn't feel as 'oil-y' on my face as other
oils did. It felt less clogged up.

Now finally, onto the flavors! :) 

My favorite, by far is the peach one! It literally smells like

peach rings (with just a hint of that coconut oil smell). I

find this one to be the perfect one to use on my body. It has

just the right amount of yumminess smell to not gross

anyone out if its all over your skin!

My second favorite is the green tea. 

I like to use this in the morning. I 

find this one to be a bit more uplifting,

so I loved using this to moisturize my

face in the morning.

The next one is the lavender one. 

This one is really wonderful too.

I like to use this to take off my make

up at night time. It has such a nice

relaxing and calming scent. This one

would probably be amazing in a bath

(just a few drops) or used for a massage,

but i have yet to do that! :)

I love jasmine smells... especially in my hair. 

I decided to try this one as a hair mask and i 

LOVEDDD the lingering smell it left in my hair.

Reminds me of LUSH's godiva shampoo bar. 

dang, makes me wanna get another bar of that!

Lastly, the rose scent. I'm not a huge rose person,

but I don't mind it. I haven't used all that much of

this, but I have mixed it with the lavender or the

green tea to make my own personalized scent

(which is SUPER fun btw!)

you mix them to make new unique flavors?

If there is ANYTHING i would urge you to get it'd be this!
This is my perfect "nude peach" shade and I love that it tints!
It looks gross and brown on the pencil, but looks beautiful on lips!

my favorite part is that you don't have to sharpen them! They twist up!
