Who's ready for the MAC Venomous Villains?!

HOW AMAZING does their villains collection! I know that I will be running to Mac doors when Sept 30 rolls around.

It's definitely in time for the fall- so many berry lip colors, bright purples... and LOOK AT THOSE NAIL POLISHES! (although I did hear two of the colors, there are two exact drugstore dupes, so that'll definitely save me so much money!)

Fall Lovin': China Glaze Vintage Vixen

AH! LOVING LOVING LOVING the new China Glaze Vintage Vixen line!

Now, I am NOT the type of girl that likes any pearly, sparkly nail polish. I like my nail polishes glossy and that's it... but for some reason this season... I'm LOVING the fall colors with some sparkles!! Gem tones & metallics are really in this season.. which is perfect for me right now cus i'm all about the sparklies!!!!!!

Now their whole line is all pretty sparkly colors. I really loved this line because the sparkles are really subtle, so even those that are FREAKED by glittery nail polish, can even enjoy this! I picked up three colors- I picked these three up because I felt like I would wear these the most. If the color wasn't sparkly, would I still wear the color? Thats how I chose which colors I got! (And of course I would pick red, plum and taupe) Check them out!!

Foxy is a really beautiful ruby red- like dorothy's shoes! I'm so excited to whip this out for christmas parties and stuff! It looks so beautiful with the pretty gold shimmers in it.

Here is Bogie! It is such a pretty eggplanty, plum color!! This color is really special because the sparklies aren't just silver, but you can see almost ... rainbow colors when the light shines on it. So pretty!

THIS IS MY FAVORITE ONE BY FAR!!! from far away it looks like any other taupe-y grey color- like mink muffs or something... but then when you look closely, there are little copper sparkles. SOOOO gorgeous and unique. I absolutely LOVE this for fall and cannot stop wearing this color!!!

Now, the nail polishes themselves are OK quality. They are a cheaper nail polish brand, so yes they chip pretty quickly... but on the upside, you only need two coats to make a nice opaque look. BUT, their colors are so unique, I couldn't resist. I would give it the full A+, but just because of the easy chippage....

Fall Favorite: Clinique Black Honey Almost Lipstick

I guess my blog did work because thank god! It is finally beginning to cool down! So now I can really get into gear with my fall-ness! I even ventured off and bought some China Glaze nail polishes (for so cheap!) from their new vintage vixen line. I can't wait to show you.. they are SO gorgeous and so FALL! :) WHOOHOO!

Anyways, I have my very first review for you today!

Clinique Black Honey Almost Lipstick :)

Don't be deceived by the dark color! It comes out very sheer!

Pros: Feels like a wonderful lip balm when you first put it on. The color is PHENOMENAL! It's very subtle, natural and beautiful without being too much. It's a perfect light and little lipstick that can be carried around easily (I have the ugly old green plastic ones, but the metal ones look even nicer!) Also the price isn't extremely expensive! ($14)

Cons: This product is not very long lasting.. but I mean, what normal lip product is? I went out to meet my cousin for about 2 hours and I didn't bring the lipstick along with me. After about 1.5 hours, my lips felt dry and cracky and that wonderful balm feeling was gone :( My lips still had a bit of a tint, but it surely did not feel at all as nice as it did when I first put it on!

Cheaper Alternatives: Now I know that not everyone can afford a $14 tinted lip balm lol - so here are some near dupes that I've heard of :) Let me know if you've heard of or tried other dupes!

Palladio lip tint in Brownie

Sally Hansen Natural Beauty Moisture Plump Lip Balm in Sweet Plum

Wet'n'Wild WildShine lipstick in "Luscious Shine" #326.

Conclusion:

It's the perfect fall shade and surprisingly suits EVERYONE! I was glancing through the web and came along the realbeauty.com website where they talked about shades of lipsticks (berry, pink, red, nude, etc.) that most seem to fit all skin tones. And not surprisingly Clinique's Black Honey Almost Lipstick was the winner for the berry shade :) Take a look at how beautiful this one lipstick looks on all these ladies!!

Would I purchase again? Probably! The shade is just too beautiful to not... but I'll make sure to keep it in my pocket to reapply often ;)

Fall Trends that I LURVEE!!!

OH MAN. Can you believe today is Sept 1 and it is flippin' 95 degrees. My roommate and I were sitting in the dark with the A/C on and with the TV on (used as our light as well)-- and we were STILL sweating. We figured to keep the lights off to not only keep it cooler, but if the A/C is on, something else needs to be off. lol! gotta save energy! PUAHAH So maybe I can help mother nature remember that summer should be winding down and that fall should be here!!!

Anyway.. I believe that THIS is my season right now because I am LOVING so many of this year's fall trends!

Below are some of my FAVORITES:

Neutral Colors!! :)

OHhhhohhohooooo! Although I occasionally like to wear my pop of color, I am OBSESSED with neutral colors. So when I saw that Neutral colors were in (especially camel color and olive green), I am ON IT!

PURPLE!!! --Vibrant,Plums&Berries

This is another look that I absolutely love. Not only do I love wearing these plum-y colors, but I absolutely adore wearing plum and berry make up. Purple is one of the only colors I'll venture off to wear on my eyes and I absolutely can't WAIT for fall to come around so I can dive into my berry lipsticks.

Sheer Tops

Now, this sounds kinda sexy and sultry, but there are so many ways to make this look classy. Sheer, lace, see throughish things hooray! I have a bunch of lacy overshirts that I rocked back in the day- and I'm glad it's come back... because it really is such a beautiful look!

Dark Smokey Eye Shadow Looks

Whether it be lots of black eyeliner (YES!) or lots of smokey shadow, dark heavy looks are in! The emphasis this time around is less on the eyelashes, but more on your shadow look:)

Red Lips

Now I am not good at rocking red lips, but I love love love to try! hahaha :) The best I get is rockin' a good red gloss, so its not so harsh on my lips, but at least since many more people will be rockin' the look... maybe I can venture off to getting some red lipsticks as well. So excited this is coming in!

Some other things are leather, double breasted blazers, over the knee boots, cut-out clothes, military look&vests!! FALL COME QUICKER!!!!
