Jouer Skinny Dip Swatches

In general, I'm always pretty weary of shimmery, glittery colors - but there are a couple palettes that have really been proving me wrong!!!

Jouer is definitely one of them -- I at first was not even interested in purchasing this product, but for some reason, I did and I'm so thankful for it! Jouer came out with their newest "Skinny Dip" Palette which delivers an 'intense, shimmering metallic finish' -- and it definitely doesn't disappoint! As you can see by the swatches, each color is intensely pigmented that are extremely long wear. There are obviously colors I prefer over others - for example, bikini and magic hour didn't seem to be as pigmented as the others and really needed to be built up, but the rest of them were extremely foiled and opaque in the first swipe. It's used best when I use my finger - especially to pat on top of my eye look and it intensifies any look!

The word "dip" is the skinny dip highlighter which delivers the perfect amount of glow for an amazing summer evening. I've literally been using this amazing peachy highlight for weeks now and it has the perfect amount of "highlight" - its not TOO much and its not glittery, but extremely buttery!

Below are the swatches of the skinny dip palette and highlighter!

Left to right: Sky Light, Bikini, Skinny Dip, Tan Lines, Magic Hour, Midnight Swim, Skinny Dip Highlight

Definitely don't hesitate to pick these up, even if you're not a huge foiled fan - I am super impressed by the pigment and can't wait to test out more looks with this! It's currently OOS, but definitely check back to see when they are back in stock here :)

Becca Cosmetics x Chrissy Teigan Swatches

So I had to run into sephora yesterday to get a quick touch up on my lippie before I head to meet felix and I ran into the amazing Becca Cosmetics x Chrissy Teigen Palette!!!

The line was too long, so I wasn't able to purchase it yet, but I wanted to share swatches with you!

First impressions - AMAZING QUALITY as are most of Becca's powder products. Another thing I noticed was the blush was more pink than I imagined and the bronzer was more matte and universal than I imagined. Also, the highlights are a bit more glowy and peachy that would be perfect for the summer nights!

Here are some swatches as of now! I cannot WAIT to get my hands on this for real!

This palette retails for $46. You can purchase this at beccacosmetics, sephora, or ulta.

Benefit SunBeam

Jul 18, 2012 | | 0 comments
Wow. In general - I love highlighters, but for me many of them end up looking nearly the same for me. They highlight areas you would like to be highlighted and just leave a little glisten. To me, they don't really have differences in colors after a while, its just shimmer. HAHA!

Until I found you <3

I've always loved benefit - their cool inventive nail polish type applicator for their highlighters (and stains) are very cool. High beam was probably the first highlight I've ever tried and I still love it dearly.

Then I bought Sun Beam. It came out more recently and I'd have to say, for the first time, I can see a difference in highlighting colors! It leaves more of a sweet golden/champagne that makes you look 'goddess' worthy.

I think it's the PERFECT highlight for summer evenings ;D
Here are some swatches for you:
Left side in direct sunlight
Right side indoor lighting by the window

I purchased mine from sephora.com (travel size with a travel coralista for $12)

Favorite Product of the Moment

Holy Grail, for reals! :D

I have been using the Lancome Eclat Miracle for a good couple of months now and I fall in love with it every single time I use it!! I can't even begin to explain what this product is - but the best way I can is to say that it is a multipurpose white shimmer. I sometimes use it as a primer or base all over my face, I use it as a highlight, or I could use it alone just for an extra glow!

As a primer: it gives the softest feel after it's use, almost like you put a serum all over your face. It really does help with adhesion of products onto your face. You can use as little or as much as you want to your dewy liking! :D

As a highlighter: Sometimes instead of a primer, i use it just a little on my forehead, down my nose and on the top of my cheekbones. I kind of rub it on as if I'm using it like a primer. it just gives the most natural glow without really noticing that you slathered product all over. Occasionally, I like to take a little extra and dab it on my cheekbones - it gives a bit extra shimmer and looks PERFECT.

I personally like this better than most of the highlighters I've used because its white (rather than being a pink or gold base) and because it is super sheer so its the most natural, but is also build-able as well.

Absolute LOVE LOVE LOVE.

sorry the picture quality is going to be AWFUL. but I only have my macbook and i dont have my camera on me!!! :( Hopefully I'll be able to update it later on this week after my huge assignments due! :D

The picture does not do this product justice! What is your favorite highlighter?? Have you tried the Eclat Miracle??? :D
