What's NEW at Wander Beauty!?

I recently went to a Wander Beauty event and they just launched their NEW No Days Off Discovery Kit! This is their new kit that features 3 new products of beauty essentials for on the go -- especially when you have no days off!

It includes:
-a mini Drift Away Cleanser (1oz) This is a gel-to-foam cleanser that cleans makeup and impurities gently to give a double cleansed effect to nourish and revitalize all in one step.

-mini Dive In Moisturizer (.67oz) This is a 72 hour moisturizer (WHAT?!). It packs in Pentavitin and 13 fruit extracts to hydrate, brighten and protect for healthier looking skin.

-mini Extra Mileage Hair Refresher (.94oz) THIS I WILL NEED A FULL SIZE!!! lmao. This is so innovative! This is a liquid hair refresher that has silica powder so it duals as a hair texturizer and kind of like a dry shampoo to help keep you fresh -- especially after a work out or what not! I tried this after the workout and I did NOT look sweaty or greasy at all!!!

-the cutest clear, peach and gold (with words "no days off") cosmetics pouch

Testing the products out - so I can't wait to let you know how they are! Already love the cleanser and hair refresher, but have yet to try the moisturizer!!

Currently this item is not out yet, but it will be $38 and you can pre-order!

NEW: Fresh Vitamin Nectar Glow Products

Fresh's Vitamin Nectar line is one of my favorites (after the rose line ... and the soy cleanser) so when they rolled out these two new products, I jumped as quickly as I could to purchase them!

The first product is the Vitamin C Antioxidant Glow Face Mist. It comes in two sizes 8.4oz ($44) or 3.3oz ($25). This product claims to give your face instant hydration while delivering tons of nutrients to help you glow such as vitamin C, E, and B5, citrus fruit extracts and minerals. It can help to revitalize dull skin for a more vibrant, healthy glow with smooth texture. You can use this product as a cooling primer, makeup-setter, or an instant refresh.

At first use, I fell in love. Although this isn't a product I would normally purchase, it's a nice little treat. It's a great refresher, smells amazing and (sweet peach and slightly citrusy?) and has the nicest, finest mist. I never used it as a setter because I want all the nutrients to go into my face lmao! It is such a luxurious treat to use, especially in the summertime!

The next product I was SOOOO excited about and it's the Vitamin Nectar Vitamin C Glow Powder. Said to be a "30-second foaming facial" with 12 packets aka 12 uses for $40. This product is supposed to instantly brighten skin and tighten pore with 20% vitamin C. You are supposed to use this product twice a week so this product will last you 6 weeks total.

The packaging is great for travel and comes in these cute little packets. It has a citrus-y scent which was very reminiscent of those effervescent packets like emergen-C or airbourne. lol! I will say that adding the water to mix it together got a little bit messy as some of the powder went flying out of my hand. The product left a tingling in my skin and when I washed it off, my skin (in one go!) seemed brighter, smoother and tighter. As an avid vitamin c girl, I'm excited to see how my skin changes in 6 weeks!

You can purchase these items at sephora or fresh. WIll you be picking these up??

It Cosmetics Confidence in a Glow Swatches

I can't believe I was so excited about these that I forgot to take pictures of just the product - especially of how GORGEOUS the actual product is! In any case - here we've got It Cosmetics' newest glow product that has a three in one - a highlight, blush and bronzer, all ombre'd into one! They advertise this as getting an "instant all-over vitality filled glow, plus a boost of brightening and radiant warmth, in one simple step"

Of course one of my favorite parts of It Cosmetics products is that they always have some sort of skincare benefits to their products. So not only does this have a gorgeous orange scent, but its infused with vitamin C, has anti aging ingredients, and is talc free!

This is from the It Cosmetics Website and what the inside of each palette looks like with their own color palette.

This comes in three shades:

Instant Nude Glow - sheerest pretty glow (peachy pink blush and my favorite - its very natural!)

Instant Warm Glow - like an INTENSE version of the Nude glow. It has a super pigmented bronzer, deep peachy pink shade. (This would be great for deeper skin tones!)

Instant Natural Glow - has a gorgeous rosy color to it!

Pigmentation: All three shades have great pigmentation and there are definitely great shades for any skin tone! They have a cooler/berry tone as well as two warmer ones. You can make it super subtle, but you can build that SO fast too lol!

Ease: It actually comes with its own brush (sold separately) that advertises one sweep - which works, but I also like to use the colors separately. Either way, its super buttery, soft and smooth which allows for super easy application!

Lasting Ability: With a good primer and foundation, it lasted the whole day! :)

Smell: It smells SO good - like a slight citrus scent.

Price: I think that this three in one is INCREDIBLY reasonable at $32. It is three products in one and is super compact and has .521oz of product.

Overall, a great bang for your buck. In my opinion, you may not need the accompanying brush - this product speaks volumes for itself with any brush you choose! It is gorgeous, pigmented and there is a color for everyone!... plus, who can say no to this amazing packaging!

You can purchase this on It Cosmetics, Ulta, and QVC. :)

ftc. this was sent to me by PR.

Becca Cosmetics x Chrissy Teigan Swatches

So I had to run into sephora yesterday to get a quick touch up on my lippie before I head to meet felix and I ran into the amazing Becca Cosmetics x Chrissy Teigen Palette!!!

The line was too long, so I wasn't able to purchase it yet, but I wanted to share swatches with you!

First impressions - AMAZING QUALITY as are most of Becca's powder products. Another thing I noticed was the blush was more pink than I imagined and the bronzer was more matte and universal than I imagined. Also, the highlights are a bit more glowy and peachy that would be perfect for the summer nights!

Here are some swatches as of now! I cannot WAIT to get my hands on this for real!

This palette retails for $46. You can purchase this at beccacosmetics, sephora, or ulta.

NEW! Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush Palette!

O M G  - when I heard about hourglass coming out with ANOTHER one of their infamous ambient palettes, I had to hop on it! Sephora was having an exclusive VIB rouge sale before it officially came out in October, so I hopped on to pick one (or two :P) up!

Here's your exclusive, first look at the palette. Now I already own one in radiant magenta and have used it for quite some time. The effortless, finely milled texture makes it so easy to apply and gives a somewhat 'airbrushed' finish. It looks so natural without looking chalky.

So you can imagine my excitement to pick up this cute little palette with THREE more colors - two that i've been fawning over! -- luminous flush and mood exposure!

Alright let's get into the picture + swatches for you!

Luminous Flush, Incandescent Electra, Mood Exposure

Each little blush is .116oz, the original blush is .15oz and the lighting powder is .35oz for comparison!

Swatches of Luminous Flush (top) - described as a champagne rose
Incandescent Electra (middle) - described as a cool peach
Mood Exposure (bottom) - described as a soft plum

The palette comes out, I believe October 1 and is an amazing addition to your makeup stash if you've been looking to try out these awesome blushes! It's a great travel item too because its sleek, compact yet gives you many choices of color! At $58, it may be steep, but IMO beats paying for ONE blush at $35!  Definitely definitely go check it out! You will love this --- PS. it would be great for a holiday present ;P…. just sayin' <3

Christian Louboutin - Rouge Louboutin Nail Polish!!!

image from christianlouboutin.com
(the shoe is not part of the polish shah!)

I can't contain my excitement… but today is the day that the Christian Louboutin NAIL POLISH has debuted!

According to CL - "The Red Sole was born from red nail polish. I am giving back to nails, what the shoe took from the nails many years ago" I love this!!!

They launch today at Saks flagship with a couple of 'must have' polishes - a red, bright pink, baby pink and i believe a khaki type color. They will set you back a huge huge huge $50 amount per bottle (and each bottle seems to have less polish than a regular nail polish bottle), but you can't deny the louboutin inspired packaging. Looks like a fountain pen -- or a weapon.

Either way, undeniably flawless and louboutin, I can't wait to try it out and see if the polish is just as good quality as his shoes ;D

It's coming out at sephora soon (which i thought was pretty crazy)!

what do you think? would you SPLURGE just because its CL? lol I feel like I'm going to splurge, then be over it after I try it. I'm hoping it won't be an addiction like some people have to CL shoes! :P

Dior Addict Fluid Sticks

Hi friends! :)  It's been a crazy world wind of a month. Even though I haven't blogged regularly like I used to… doesn't mean I'm not buying a ton of stuff! HAHA :D

Today I have for you the dior addict fluid stains. they were all the hype, so I picked up three (lol) colors. They are quite pricy, but I do think that they are worth the price! And come on. look at that packaging!! :D

They are another one of those lipstick/lip gloss --- aka 'liquid lipstick' hybrids (similar to the shiseido). It starts of kind of cool on your lips and feel slick, but once you really get it on your lips, it kind of becomes slightly tacky (but not nearly as tacky as the YSL lip stains or lip glosses). Its very hydrating, so my lips never felt dry. The darker colors have slight staining power on my lips, but only for a couple of hours. Lighter shades wore around 3 hours on me and darker shades lasted around 4-5 hours. My favorite part about these are the creamy glossy finish it leaves and the fact that you can do a sheer layer or build it up to be quite opaque.

Overall, I think these are wonderful! It has a gorgeous formula, but if you don't like the slightly tackier formulas, this may not be for you!

I picked up the three shades in 389 kiss me (cool baby pink), 551 aventure (coral red), and 239 Frisson (gorgeous peach nude).

(389 kiss me)

(551 aventure)

(239 Frisson)

Will you be picking these sweet lip products up? I purchased these online at sephora. Don't forget to use ebates if you are shopping online! so easy to earn money/get cash back when you're shopping!

Loreal laLaque + leMatte Lip Colors

I'm never huge on drugstore products because of my sensitive skin, but occasionally (or more than that HA!) I enjoy picking up a couple new lip products to try out to see how drugstores are coming along. These are the fairly new Loreal Colour Riche leLaque and leMatte lip colors. It comes in 8 different shades of pinks, corals, browns and purples. Although I think that is fairly versatile, most of the colors are very bold. I wish it came in more every day neutral colors! Here's my break down:

Packaging: These are lipsticks in a almost lip pencil form. The twist up contraption is very easy to use and good for preciseness. The one thing I find is if you don't twist up high enough, as you are applying, you are getting product all over the packaging.

Smell: The smell is similar to the regular Loreal lipsticks. Slightly overpowering of the flowery, old lady smell.  Not a huge fan, but I would still use it :P

Formula/Moisture/Pigmentation: I love the texture.

The laque formula is similar to loreal lipsticks. It is thick and moisturizing without being overbearing. It gives full coverage of lipstick, but could be nice and sheer if you put just a little bit. the laque formula is very moisturizing- as are all loreal lipsticks for me!

the matte formula is slick and moisturizing. It's not dry (unlike most matte lipsticks) and has amazing lasting power. You do have to be careful, because mine transferred fairly easily (despite it being on my lips for a while), and I somehow had lipstick on my chin after a couple hours!

Lasting ability: I would say these have better lasting ability than their usual lipsticks. If you look below, the lematte formula lasted a good 7 hours before you started to see serious wear. The lelaque formula lasted a nice 5 hours before I had to reapply. I know some people experienced feathering with the leMatte formula, but I didn't have that problem (as I don't usually have much problem with feathering)

Loreal leLaque in 411 and leMatte in 408.
twist up contraption makes it so easy to apply!
Loreal leLaque in 411 and leMatte in 408.
Showing the beautiful sheen of the leLaque formula compared to the matte formula!
Here is the laLaque formula in 411 - it gives a beautiful opaque color. Its a gorgeous everyday neutral mauve pink.
Here is the laMatte formula in 408. Gorgeous rich opaque color as well. Extremely precise!
I apologize for the strange flash! I was in a place that didn't have much light! Here is the lipstick after 5 hours. (I drank some water with a straw and had half a sandwich by this time) As you can see, still pretty intact!
This was after about 7 hours, as you can see, the color in the center of my lips have completely come off, just leaving an epically cool lip liner ring of red on the outside. (and my skin is so shiny ew!)

Overall, this is a great new product. I definitely recommend it. If you can get over the 'loreal smell,' these are definitely worth the hype and worth a try! They have a lot of nice vibrant shades, I'm looking forward to hopefully them getting in more neutral shades *cough*

For more swatches of the other colors check out my good friend Jenny's post with her lip swatches as well! :)

Thanks for reading! xo
